The Tournament Mode is not the only new addition Smash is getting, either, as two classic Smash stages – Hyrule Castle and Mushroom Castle, both from the original N64 Super Smash Bros. It will be a full featured mode, too, allowing not only for offline local tournaments, but also the capacity to schedule, host, and conduct tournaments online. That’s right, originally announced in the pre-launch Nintendo Direct for Smash Wii U last year, Tournament Mode will be launching on July 31 for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, but the fourth instalment in the Smash series will finally be getting a Tournament Mode of its own. It took them nearly a year from the initial launch of Super Smash Bros.
